New Company Vjetroparkovi Elektroprivrede RS to Be Founded – Aiming to Prepare and Develop Project of Donja Trusina Wind Farm

At yesterday’s session, the Government of Republika Srpska adopted the decision to find a new legal entity called Vjetroparkovi Elektroprivrede Republike Srpske d.o.o. Berkovici, which will take upon itself the obligation of the preparation and development of the project of the Donja Trusina Wind Farm, and whose seat would be in the territory of the municipality of Berkovici.

This is a single-member company, whose founder is the concessionaire Elektroprivreda RS, with a 100% participation in the founding capital and a monetary investment of BAM 150,000, which is also the total amount of the founding capital of this company.

Implementing the key strategic goals from the Energy Development Strategy of RS Until 2035, Elektroprivreda RS prepared the Plan of the Development of Elektroprivreda RS for 2019-2029, which defines the activities toward the execution and realization of the investment projects for the construction of new production facilities of MH ERS, which use renewable energy sources, among which are three wind farms – Hrgud, Donja Trusina and Radimlja.

The parent company commenced the activities toward the preparation of the realization of the project of the construction of the Donja Trusina Wind Farm, whose development is planned for the period of 2022-2024.

To the end of realizing this extremely important project, a whole range of activities needs to be initiated, primarily pertaining to the preparation and obtaining of adequate studies, the filing of requests for the awarding of the concession, land identification, determining the ownership, as well as regulating the property-legal relations, the Government of RS announced.
