Ministries Bubalo and Lončar announced German donation – €3m for water supply of Kikinda

“Municipality of Kikinda is one of three in Vojvodina that will obtain donation worth about €3m from a German organization, which will solve its quality water supply problem through the repair of the old plumbing system or the construction of drinking water factory”, the Minister of Government Administration and Local Autonomy, Zoran Lončar, stated.

Being guests on local television, Mr. Lončar and the Minister of Economy and PRivatization, Predrag Bubalo, announced that the German Institute from Karlsrue would organize presentation of the project for quality water supply in Kikinda on January 24 for the representatives of municipalities of Zrenjanin, Novi Bečej, Bečej and Kikinda.

“The citizens of Kikinda will not get healthy drinking water from the Carpathian mountains, but, most probably, from beneath the river bed of the Tisa river”, said Bubalo.
