New medical program in Lukovska spa - Successful treatment of osteoporosis

- In Lukovska spa near Kursumlija, a special medical program has been launched for the treatment of osteoporosis and other bone-muscular diseases - Lukovska spa Director Radoljub Vidic told Beta agency.

He pointed out that it had been medically proved that thermal water in Lukovska spa, of which temperature at the source was 70 degrees Centigrade, had a beneficial effect in the bone system treatment so that they had decided to give primacy to that treatment in the spa that was famous for healing and beneficial effects of its thermal water.

- Every year, this spa is visited by thousands of patients suffering from osteoporosis and other bone diseases from Serbia and abroad who claim that the stay in our spa help them more than all medicines, as well as that they would not stand the pain in bones and joints if there was not for regular spa treatments - says Vidic.

He underlines that that is why the spa management have decided to offer the guests a special program for the treatment of osteoporosis and other bone-muscular diseases by contemporary medical methods.

As the Director points out, such treatment definitely makes the muscular system stronger and alleviates problems and pains caused by osteoporosis, which is the reason why the spa is fully occupied by guests these days.
