Beginning of Reconstruction of Port of Prahovo Drawing Closer – Tender for Supervisor Worth EUR 1.5 Million Published

The EU Delegation to Serbia has published the tender for the supervision of the phase-based reconstruction and extension of the existing facilities and the construction of new port capacities of the Port of Prahovo.

The works which are to be supervised entail the construction of a vertical wharf and a vertical embankment at the terminal, a gabion embankment, road works, construction of a railway at the terminal, installation of a utility network at the terminal, construction of buildings and other engineering/architectural facilities etc.

It is noted that the port facilities will be operational during the works.

The value of the job, not including the VAT, is EUR 1.5 million, and it will be financed through the agreement on the financing of the infrastructure of inland waterways of Serbia, signed between the Republic of Serbia and the EIB, and from the budget of Serbia.

Bids may be sent by August 8, 2022, 2.30 PM, and the public opening is scheduled for the next day.
