Niš-based company "Inter-fiš" has bought the oldest Croatian factory "Neptun" in Komiža and it will soon start to export sardine cans to Croatia.

Young Niš-based company "Inter-fiš", founded in 2002, modernized its equipment last year, so that, in addition to the machines from Italy and France, the management decided to buy 135-year Croatian factory and local production line. Before the New Year, the line was assembled and the production started.

The sardines are bought in Morocco and Istra, whereas the complete production and packing are carried out in the factory in Belanovac. Soon, they will start to export sardine, salmon and mackerel cans to Macedonia and Croatia. This company is also negotiating about procurement of a cold storage plant in Croatia.
