Magneti Marelli builds factory in Serbia - Investment worth 60 million euros

A delegation of Italian Magneti Marelli is coming to Kragujevac and Belgrade to form a joint venture with the authorized people in the Government of Serbia, which should have a brand new factory built in Kragujevac in 2011 and install a production line in the Mechanical Processing unit within Fiat Automobili Srbija.
This definitely confirms that, after Fiat, its most significant supplier Magneti Marelli, which operates within Fiat Group, is coming to Serbia.
In that factory, in which about 400 people will get jobs in the first year, two primary production lines will be installed in the first phase of its work. One of these production lines will be producing significant mechanical fits such as front and rare suspensions, while the other will be producing exhaust systems.
The value of this investment is about 60 million euros, 50m of which will be invested by the Italians, while the state of Serbia will provide 10m plus 3.2 million euros for employment incentives.
