Google’s Russian Subsidiary Declares Bankruptcy

The daughter company of Google in Russia has filed for bankruptcy.

The Arbitration Court in Moscow has registered the filing for bankruptcy of Google LLC, according to the records of arbitration cases.

The application was submitted to the court on June 16, and the date for the deliberation on its validity has not yet been set, reports RIA Novosti.

On May 18, Google LLC put up a notification of the intention to launch bankruptcy proceedings on the web page of the Unified Federal Register of Bankruptcy Information (Fedresurs).

The company announced at the time that it intended to file a request for the declaration of insolvency, because it had been predicting its own bankruptcy and impossibility of settling financial obligations since March 22, 2022, the Telegraf Biznis portal reports.
