MOL launches new offer for acquisition of Ina's shares

Hungarian MOL Group announced yesterday an offer for minor shareholders of Ina, in which it offers the price of HRK 2,800 (about EUR 380) per share for their shares, which is about HRK 1,000 more than the average price of Ina's shares on the stock exchange lately.
- MOL Group offers to buy free-float shares of Ina at the price of HRK 2,800 per share - Domokos Szollar, the spokesperson of MOL Group in Croatia, said to the press in Zagreb and pointed out that MOL wanted to become the majority owner of the Croatian oil company.
The Hungarian company currently owns 47% of Ina's shares, about 44% are in the possession of the Government of Croatia, while institutional and private investors own about 8% of shares.
Over the last few days, the price of Ina's shares on the Zagreb Stock Exchange has been ranging between HRK 1,780 and HRK 1,790 (about EUR 240), while the price of HRK 2,800 offered by MOL is the same price at which that company bought Ina's shares in the voluntary public offering in 2008.
