Citizens of Serbia to Get Electronic Medical Records – Ministry of Health Publishes Tender for Preparation

The Ministry of Health has published the tender for the preparation of electronic medical records (EZD) for patients.

EZD will operate as an extension of the VUZ platform, which has enabled the exchange of medical data (primary medical documentation) between health systems.

The electronic medical record of an individual patient in the health system of Serbia is a set of longitudinal data (continuously, throughout the patient’s life) of key importance to the health, collected and unified from the electronic medical documentation, and records (the medical record, disease history, ledger, referral letters, reports, prescriptions, scans etc.) from various health institutions.

The tender expires on July 13.
