Alfred Finz, deputy of Minister of Finance of Austria, represents model for privatization of State-owned companies to financial experts in the Balkans

Deputy of the Minister of Finance of Austria, Dr. Alfred Finz, will speak about privatization of State-owned companies in Austria on the third EastEuro Link conference on finances.
Privatization in Austria started in 1994 in the industry, banking and infrastructure sector and, at the beginning of 2006, Austria remained the 100% owner only in Postal Company of Austria.
Thus, the participants in this international conference, which will be held on January 30-31, 2006, in Sofia, will have the opportunity to hear how Austria conducted privatization during the last decade, as well as its plans for the next period.
Since 2000, Dr. Albert Finz is the deputy of the Minister of Finance in the Government of Austria. Before that, he was director general of the Department of Administrative Affairs in the Government’s auditing agency. He is one of the most responsible people for introduction of new strategic concept in this agency, which also brought a new criteria for selection and training of auditors. Mr. Finz is considered to be expert for public accounting and administrative reforms at both national and international level.
