Director of the Office for Local Economic Development (KLER) Dusan Radivojevic announced that the Chinese company Yusei will start building a factory in Nis in June, in which it will invest around EUR 30m, and will employ 300 workers.

- That company may get a building permit today if it pays contributions for construction land. In any case, they will very soon start building a plant next to the existing plant of the Xing Yu company, of which they are one of the main subcontractors - said Radivojevic at the session of the Nis City Assembly.

According to him, by the end of this year, an Austrian company will start building their plant in Nis.

- By the decision of the Government of Serbia, that project was declared a project of national importance. The investment is worth EUR 40 million, and it will enable the employment of slightly over 500 workers - said Radivojevic.

He added that the Austrian company will build a factory in the area between Imi and Zumtobel.
