The fourth industrial revolution and the current situation regarding energy efficiency were the focus of the recently held 64th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements in Belgrade.

The factory of raw materials and appliances Feman from Jagodina presented itself at every fair with a new product. According to Miodrag Nikolic, director and owner of the company, Feman presented the first Serbian charger for electric cars at the previous fair, before the COVID pandemic, and this year they exhibited the first Serbian "Sunflower" solar power plant.

- This solar power plant is specific in that it has solar panels which follow the sun throughout the day and rotate as the sun moves, which is why we named it the sunflower power plant. Its power is up to 7.5 kilowatts. It is able to use 100% of sunlight and infrared rays during the day - Nikolic states for eKapija.

As he explained to us, there is currently great interest in this type of electricity production, because electricity will become more expensive.

- It is recommended to everyone who has the financial means, to buy a solar power plant. They can install it on the roof and it will pay off in 3 to 5 years. Once purchased, it can be used for at least 50 years and obtain free electricity, the surplus of which can go to the electricity grid, so in a way EPS pays off the surplus electricity produced by each house - he notes.

Feman emphasizes that, although certain initial funds are needed, in the long run this is a worthwhile investment.

- This year we are at the fair to invite potential buyers to look and test our products. Afterwards, marketing talks to them, contacts are made and sales expand, Nikolic concludes.

At the exhibition stand of Schrack Technik, we found the technical director of Schrack Technik Serbia, Milos Arsenijevic, who presented the company's products.

According to him, this Austrian-based international company operates in 14 European countries and deals with equipment for electrical products, low-voltage equipment and equipment for communication technologies.

- We have complete passive equipment, both optical and copper infrastructure, so in that part we believe that we are leaders in this market. We presented the complete range of our equipment at the fair, and we also exhibited some new technologies - Arsenijevic tells us.

As he explained to us, this is a new lighting control technology that may include lighting control in business facilities, halls or production facilities.

- The electro-mobility system, i.e. the management system that we presented at this fair, enables the management of charging stations for electric cars. It can also be controlled by outdoor lighting. Management is done according to the DALI protocol, and on the other hand, chargers are managed with "Dynamic Load Management" - he notes.

As he explained to us, it is a special system through which the maximum withdrawn power from the network towards cars is limited. So, if you do not have enough energy to charge four, five or more chargers and the same number of cars at the same time, you can limit the withdrawal of power from the network and thus determine exactly how much can the cars tow, based on the approval from your distribution company, which has set power supply limiters.

- This kind of lighting has existed for 30 years, but this is a novelty in our country that under relatively favorable conditions one can make such a system and get one software that supports it - Arsenijevic emphasizes.

At the technology fair, we also visited the stand of Damiba trade, which presented itself at this fair with the product range of FLIR sistems, now renamed to Teledyne FLIR.

- We presented FLIR's program of thermal imaging sensors, thermal imaging measuring cameras and security cameras for border surveillance that have military application - Vladimir Babic, director and owner of Damiba Trade, told us.

As he explained to us at this year's fair, the emphasis is on measuring cameras to control industrial production.

- There are fixed and hand-held cameras, and we have shown all this together with thermal imaging drones that are used for aerial surveillance and in locations where it is not possible to approach by land. And drones are also used for surveillance, search and control of industrial processes from the air, substations of electrical plants - Babic tells us.

At this year's fair, the Damiba company also presented anti-drone systems in the form of brochures. As they say, although this fair is not focused on this type of product, those modular systems were presented that will be interesting in the coming period, and which are aimed at security sector and the military.

- Next we have the Detection program, which are sensors for the detection of explosives, biohazards, as well as radiation detection products. We also offer thermal imaging devices for hunting: monoculars, binoculars and thermal sights. We also presented products in the field of night vision technology, i.e. light amplifier technology. In that segment, we represent the company AGM Global Vision from America - he explains to us.

Damiba Trade has been on the market since 2002 and its clients are practically all larger companies from all industries.

- The fair saves time in the sense that clients come to us. We have a lot of projects that are in progress, some things are "updated" and confirmed somewhere. Although this year's fair is much more modest than before the COVID, we still believe in this type of marketing. Our clients are our partners.

In Damiba, they emphasize that they also hold thermography courses, and for that they are certified by FLIR.

-A lot of clients have completed courses with us in order to make the most of the cameras they buy. We also provide services with our own cameras and drones - Babic tells us in a conversation.

At the recently concluded Fair of Technics and Technical Achievement, the company Elmed from Temerin presented its standard range of products for the delivery of integrated solutions for coding, labeling and product control.

- Also, we presented ourselves with certain novelties and possibilities from our production of equipment and labeling systems, automation in production as well as new possibilities from our production of self-adhesive color labels - Elmed states.

Among this year's novelties at Elmed, they singled out the Universal Robot collaborative robot, whose main distributor on the markets of Serbia and the region has been Elmed for the past two years.

- For the first time, at the Technology Fair, we presented two robots from the e-Series of collaborative robots by this company - UR3e which was programmed in the Coding Zone as a brandy dispenser; and the second, larger robot is UR10e, programmed for the "Pick & Place" application, as well as the possibility of palletizing - they pointed out at Elmed.

As they told us "last year, but also in the first quarter of 2022, our equipment production has brought to the market a unique labeling system that we have included in our standard Product Catalog."

- We expect semi-serial production of such systems in the near future. There is, of course, a new possibility of printing Premium labels (wine, distillery and cosmetics industry), also from our production, which brings to the market novelties such as UV varnish, embossing and hot foil printing on labels with which packaging of any brand will surely attract market attention - they told us.

When it comes to impressions from the fair, Elmed tells us that, having in mind that the fair is a great occasion for companies to present their products and innovations on the market, as well as to expand business cooperation and contacts, of which were many this year, they hope that by the next gathering they will be able to boast of a novelty that had its roots at this year's Technology Fair.

Over 500 exhibitors from Serbia, the region and the whole world presented their products at the 64th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievement in Belgrade, held from May 24 to 27, after a two-year break.
