Energoprojekt Oprema builds 132 km of long-distance power line in Nigeria - Job worth 33 million dollars

Energo Nigeria, an offshore company of Energoprojekt Oprema, and the Transmission Company of Nigeria have signed an agreement on the construction of 330 kV long-distance power line between Erukan and Omotosho, 132 km long, in the region of Lagos.

The value of the agreement is 33 million dollars, while the project is to be implemented within two years. Energo Nigeria Ltd. has recently signed an agreement with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation on the construction of 132 kV long-distance power line 20 km long and a substation of 15 MVA and 132/33/3,3 KV for the Atlas Cove Depot, on the island of Tarkwa, at the entrance to the port of Lagos.

The value of this contract is 13 million dollars and the project is to be implemented in 18 months. A total value of the newly contracted works of Energo Nigeria Ltd. in the energy sector (in the second half of current year) is 46 million dollars.
