It seems like football club Vojvodina came out of crisis after many years. Big number of players are interesting to foreign clubs and Milan Mandarić (the owner of British FC Portsmouth) recently announced that, if the appropriate terms related to the Law on Sport and privatization were founded, he would gladly invested money in Vojvodina. (Glas javnosti, January 14, 2006)

Asked whether it is true that he buys FC Vojvodina, Mandarić, who was born in Novi Sad, answered that it was not true. “I haven’t spoken to anyone from Vojvodina for many years” – said Mandarić. “Some day, that will maybe come true, but only under the condition that everything is crystally clear as far as privatization is concerned. In that case, Vojvodina will, most probably, be at the top of that list”. FC Koper is much more interesting variant and that story lasts for 2 years. Mandarić says that the realization of the business is very close. (Novosti, January 14, 2006)
