FIB bank Bulgaria to buy MB banka Niš ?

The representatives of the banks have signed the letter of intention for procurement of Niška Banka and it is expected that the contract will be signed prior to the end of January. However, the representatives of Eki investment, financial consulting company of Niška Banka, pointed out that that was only the first step and that, in accordance with the Law on banks and other financial institutions, all interested must turn to the National Bank of Serbia NBS, which would estimate their credit-worthiness and give agreement for takeover.
