EPS Updating Reports on Safety and Plans of Protection from Malfunctions for TENT A and B

The PE EPS, branch TENT, has published the tender for updating the Reports on Safety and the Plans of Protection from Malfunctions for TENT A and TENT B.

According to the technical specification of the tender, when it comes to TENT A, the Report on Safety needs to be amended so as to be harmonized with the amendments to the regulations in the field of environmental protection, and permits, authorizations and amendments need to be included in it that pertain to the smoke gas desulfuring facility under construction, as does a description of the Seveso facility and the updating of the data on the emissions of polluting matters, the consumption of chemicals and the amount of the waste produced etc.

For TENT B, amendments to the legal regulations in the field of environmental protection, the application of the chemical Pentomag 2550, which is used as an additive for coal and which is listed as a harmful matter, as well as a description of a Seveso facility and the updating of the data on the emissions of polluting matters, chemicals and waste need to be included in the Report on Safety.

Furthermore, the Plans of Protection from Malfunctions need to be updated in line with these amendments, and, as per need, new Plans for Acting in States of Emergency should be prepared.

The tender expires on May 10.
