Signing of contract between Government and consulting companies for Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) - today

The Government of Serbia will today sign the contract with the consortium (Meril Linch and Raiffeisen Investment) that won on the tender for privatization councillor for Petroleum Industry of Serbia. According to the announcement, the contract will be signed by the Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia, Radomir Naumov, and the representative of the international consortium Scott Louis. Meril Linch and Raiffeisen Investment offered the lowest price on the tender and asked for fixed fee of €900,000 for consulting services and 1.2% of compensation for successful realization of the works. Total of six offers were delivered by the consortiums made of respectable world companies. The selection of the consulting company for NIS is the condition for completion of the current financial arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (MMF) and write-off of about 700 million USD Serbia owes to the Club de Paris.
