Soon: expansion of “Moskva“ hotel

The new owner of Belgrade-based hotel “Moskva“, Swiss company Netwest Finance, plans to expand that hotel if it obtains necessary permits and, in that way, gets it another star.
The manager of hotel “Moskva“, Sava Janićević, said that, following the resolving of ownership relations with the old owners and obtaining of necessary permits, the garage, congress hall and shopping center would be built, which would bring the 5th star to the hotel.
According to his words, since the new owner arrived in Summer 2005, there has not been any changes in the management.
The stocks of hotel “Moskva“ have been rated on the Belgrade Stock Exchange since September 2005. The day before yesterday 241 stocks of the hotel were sold for about 1.5 million CSD. The stocks were sold at price of 6,440 CSD.
Janićević stated that hotel “Moskva” functions properly after the privatization, after which 83% of the assets became stockholding capital.
Remaining ownership structure in “Moskva“ is divided between Share Fund of Serbia, which owns 12.76% of stock capital, whereas Pension and Disability INsurance Fund owns 3.99% of the assets.
