The 15th international gold jewelry, clock and optics exhibition Sjaj was ceremoniously opened today at the Novi Sad Fair. The exhibition was opened by Vlado Krizek, the owner of Zagreb-based Krizek jewelry, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year. On that occasion, he wished a successful appearance to all exhibitors whose products will be on display in Master Hall until Sunday, November 14.
A ring on display at the booth of Krizek jewelry is the most expensive exhibit at the exhibition and it costs 5,500 euros. This ring is unique, made of white gold and decorated with 10-karat aquamarine stone and 150 brilliants.
A ring with a natural emerald and 60 brilliants, which is on display at the booth of Jankovic jewelry, does not lag behind with its exclusiveness and its price is 1,400 euros.
The offer of rings is dominated by a modern design and a combination of white and yellow gold, as well as by rich decorating with colorful zircons or large semiprecious stones.
The price depends on the weight and work, and prices mainly range between 6,000 and 35,000 dinars.
The most expensive wrist watch on display at Sjaj exhibition is a watch made by Swiss manufacturer Revue Thommen.
It is made of surgical steel, decorated with crystals and sapphires, and it costs 299,000 dinars. What is interesting is that a large number of U.S. presidents were wearing such watch during their mandates, which puts it in so-called "presidential collection". By the way, Revue Thommen was formed in 1853 and it is one of the most prestigious clock factories in Switzerland.
There are over 60 exhibitors at the exhibition and they come from Serbia, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia and Turkey.
Within the scope of business and expert activities, interesting lectures will be organized tomorrow and on Saturday in the Congress Center of the Novi Sad Fair.
Sjaj exhibition is open every day between 10 AM and 7 PM.
