- New tires for automobiles of higher class, of which trial production has started in Krusevac-based Trayal, will be mainly exported and sold in foreign markets - Trayal Deputy CEO Nebojsa Djenadic said today.

Djenadic told Beta agency that new tires were being produced on the new equipment that had been installed in Trayal during the summer and that the whole production would be exported to the markets of England, Netherlands, Germany and Russia.

- Using the old equipment, Trayal has, so far, been able to produce only the tires for medium-class automobiles whose maximum speed is 210 km/h. Thanks to the new line, we can now work on the development of tires for higher speeds - Djenadic specified.

He added that the testing of the new tire was underway and that the regular production should start at the end of the year. He also said that the whole production on the new line had already been sold in advance.

Brikel EAD from Bulgaria, the majority owner of Trayal, has invested about 5 million euros in the new production line.

The production capacity of the new line is 1,000 tires a day, which increases the overall daily production capacity of the factory of car tires to about 6,000 tires.
