Tomislav Papic appointed as Executive Director of EPS

With the aim of upgrading the function of retail trade, graduate electrical engineer Tomislav Papic has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS) by the decision of EPS Director General Dragomir Markovic.
Papic, who has so far been the CEO of Elektrovojvodina, will be put in charge of improvement of the technical system in power supply companies of the EPS, which are being prepared for the work in accordance with the new Energy Law and current directives of the European Union.
He will coordinate his work with all directors of power supply companies, the already formed team that will be working on the project for improvement of this business function, as well as with competent expert departments of the EPS.
Tomislav Papic is working at the EPS for 31 years. Prior to coming to the EPS, he was in the position of the Deputy Provincial Secretary for Energy and Mineral Raw Materials.
"During his 1.5-year mandate, Elektrovojvodina operated as a liquid and solvent company, collecting over 96% of its claims and successfully reducing the losses within the EPS of about 1%. The mid-voltage grid in Vojvodina was revitalized, which ensured stable and safe electric power supply. Thanks to the use of new industrial safety equipment, the standards and protection of workers were improved", reads the statement issued by the EPS.
