"Matroz" and "Mitrosrem" expect new owners

The tender privatization of Cellulose and Paper Factory "Matroz" and Agricultural Company "Mitrosrem" from Sremska Mitrovica are in progress – said Stana Jević, the associate in the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Sremska Mitrovica.

That is the second privatization attempt of "Matroz", said Jević and added that the tender documentation had been bought by two foreign companies and that it was expected that the entire procedure would be ended by the end of January.

The procedure for tender privatization of the biggest agricultural company in Srem, "Mitrosrem", entered the third year and it should be ended in 2006.

In the meantime, that company had obtained financial adviser, said Jević and reminded that MK group had bought Stara Pazova-based Agricultural company "Napredak" on the tender.
