Austria Seeking Workforce for Harvesting in Western Balkans

The minister of agriculture of Austria, Elisabeth Koestinger, expects that, this year, there will be no workforce from Ukraine for the harvesting activities in Austria.

She emphasized that, due to the war in Ukraine, Austria couldn’t count on the agricultural workforce from that country.

Due to this, she points out, there are efforts to find a replacement in the Western Balkans.
