Swiss "Nestle" announces expansion of production in Serbia

Swiss company "Nestle", leading manufacturer of food in the world, became majority owner of the ice-cream factory of Greek company "Delta" in Greece, Macedenia, Bulgaria, Romania, as well as in Serbia and Montenegro.

“Nestle” intends to develop operations in field of ice-cream in the regin and its wish is to increase the production scope, as well as to improve operations in the "Deltina" factory in Serbia.

“Nestle” is interested in coffee, chocolate, confectioneries, cold sauces and instant soups, but the investment in the ice-cream industry represents the strategic priority at the world level.

"Delta" is one of the first companies that entered Serbia’s market and built factory "Del Yug" in Stara Pazova. Up till now, during eight years, it invested over €40m and became leader in field of ice-cream production.
