Findomestic bank – owner of Belgrade-based Nova banka

Italian Findomestic bank took over 97% of stocks of Nova banka in Belgrade for €22.5m, which is 1.8 times more than the bookkeeping value of the bank. According to the announcement, the Assembly of stockholders of Nova Bank appointed the new Administrative Board, which is presided by Kjafredo Salomone, whereas Marko Pantaleoni and Virgilio Beli are the managers.
Erik Blanstet was appointed general manager and the members of the Supervisory Board are Karlo Fjoravanti, Đuzepe Jenzi and Enco Bono. Findomestic bank purchased stocks of Nova banka at price of 19,759 CSD, i.e. €230.4, for one stock. By taking over and further development of Nova Banka, Findomestic bank plans to offer its model of cash loans in Serbia, which represents unique opportunity for expansion of offer of financial products and services to the households. Equal owners of Italian bank are CR bank from Florence and BNP Paribas. Findomestic bank employs about 2,000 people and it approved about 5 billion EUR worth of cash loans in Italy in 2004.
