Broadening of Slovenska Plaža beach in the pipeline

Slovenska Plaža beach in Budva would be much broader before the next tourist season and certain number of temporary facilities in that zone would be torn down, said the manager of Public Company "Morsko dobro" Rajko Barović.

He said that, in agreement with the Hotel-Tourist company "Budvanska rivijera", the catering facility "Plava školjka" would be torn down under condition that that company obtained compensation amounting to €150,000.

Thus, the capacity of Slovenska Plaža beach will be much increased, which will respond to the needs of big number of tourists who spend their summer vacations on this famous beach in Budva.

Prior to the next tourist season, the pedestrian zone along Slovenska Plaža beach would be organized, as well as the parking lot near old Bus station and Port director’s office near Stari grad (Old city), said Barović.
