The Turkish company Erenli today marked the completion of the first phase of the construction of a factory in Leskovac, in which it will invest EUR 16.6 million and where it will produce circulation systems for the automotive industry. The factory is in the Green Zone, on a 7-ha parcel that the state provided for free as a subsidy to the Turkish company.

The production is planned to start in three months and the factory should employ 350 people. The entire production will be meant for export to Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and the annual income should be around EUR 25 million.

The visit to the construction site was also attended by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, who said that the export of the Turkish company would contribute to the growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) and wished it to operate in Serbia for a long time.

Let us remind that the construction of the factory began in late December last year.
