The minister of mining and energy of Serbia, Zorana Mihajlovic, said today that sufficient quantities of oil, oil products and gas had been secured for the local market, that the supply was not jeopardized and that there were no limitations when it comes to the purchase of oil products.

– There is enough of all oil products and there are no limitations to the purchase. We have diesel and petrol fuel in our reserves for 60 days, mazut for 122 days, and the Banatski Dvor underground gas storage facility has 100 million cubic meters of gas, which, looking by the average consumption, which is now estimated at around 10 million cubic meters, is enough for the next 10 days – Mihajlovic said, as announced by her cabinet.

She added that there were no problems in Serbia when it comes to the supply and delivery of oil and oil products and that there would not be any restrictions when it comes to the purchase either, because the state has secured sufficient quantities of energy sources on time, despite the war in Ukraine and the daily growth of the prices in the market.

– Both the state and the oil companies have secured enough reserves – Mihajlovic said.
