State to Double Payments per Hectare – Everything to Be Paid in First 10 Days of March, Minister Promises

The Government of Serbia has adopted the decision to pay agriculturists RSD 8,000 per hectare, instead of RSD 4,000.

– I have some good news for the agrarian sector, payments per hectare will be doubled for agriculturists – stated the minister of agriculture, Branislav Nedimovic.

He said that the government had made the decision to increase the payments per hectare for the Serbian agrarian sector from RSD 4,000 to RSD 8,000, or a total of over EUR 120 million, due to the energy crisis and the importance of food in the entire system.

– All the funds will be paid in the first 10 days of March, so as to realize the spring sowing without a problem – Nedimovic said.
