Great Interest of Participants in Kopaonik Business Forum

There are only a few days left until the beginning of the 29th Kopaonik Business Forum, and, judging by the interest, the Serbian Davos will gather a record-breaking number of participants and media representatives, the organizers announced.

This year, the Forum is going back to its traditional four-day format on Kopaonik, and the central topic will be Serbia 2030: Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The biggest economic gathering in the region will bring together a large number of state officials, representatives of international finance institutions, members of the diplomatic corps, as well as business people and local and foreign investors.

During the Forum, there will be talk about macroeconomic analyses and projections for 2022 for the Western Balkans, industry 4.0 and the challenges of digital transformation, geopolitical issues, energy transition, the agenda of connecting the Western Balkans, green transition, the questions of sustainability and digitization of public services, as well as the expectations of the young and digitization of healthcare systems.

On the last day of the Kopaonik Business Forum, organized by the UNICEF, a panel with the topic of What the Young Expect from Business will be held for the first time, where representatives of the youth board of the UNICEF will discuss the challenges that the young face when entering the labor market. At the panel, there will also be talk about how to be competitive in the labor market, how to acquire basic knowledge and practical skills necessary for entrepreneurship and what the young expect from the business sector when it comes to providing support in their development, especially in acquiring practical competences and business experience.

The Kopaonik Business Forum is organized by the Serbian Association of Economists in partnership with Mastercard. Registration is closed. In order to meet all the epidemic and safety measures, when registering, all the participants in the forum are required to provide proof of full vaccination or having recovered from the disease in the past six months. A valid certificate, that is, proof of vacation, should contain the information about the third (booster) shot or a second dose taken within the past six months, pertaining to all the vaccines that are available in the Republic of Serbia, the announcement says.
