Today, the RES Serbia Association marks the first year of its existence and functioning as the first business association fully dedicated to renewable energy sources in its mission, vision and goals.

In just one year, RES Serbia has become a highly influential player in the market of renewable energy sources in Serbia and a recognizable factor in the region and Europe, the statement said.

- Apart from the EBRD support, a very important fact is that among our founders are renowned companies that have built the largest wind farms in Serbia, the largest solar power plants, hydro power plants and bio-gas plants, as well as prestigious members of power companies, lawyers and consultants. All our members have great, visible results in Serbia, produce electricity, employ workers, pay taxes, and in addition have similar or even greater results abroad. Such a synergy of quality energy had to give results, with of course hard work - says Danijela Isailovic, manager of the RES Serbia Association.

The Association has signed an Agreement with the Ministry of Mining and Energy, excellent cooperation with EMS AD and the Energy Agency, while PE EPS, as the largest producer of green energy, is a regular member of the Association.

RES Serbia is an active member of the European Wind Energy Association WindEurope.

Cooperation has been established with the Energy Community, the EU Delegation and foreign embassies with the aim of improving the energy transition process.

- In the founding year, we have exceeded our own expectations, even the expectations of those who supported us. We have attracted a lot of attention, which is quite normal when you work a lot and when you represent a synergy of values and results. Our plans for the coming years are to be a stable Association whose word has weight both in our country and in the region, to expand membership to the extent that everyone will feel good about mutual cooperation. The general goals remain the same: more green energy, support for energy transition, work on regulations, cooperation with state bodies, informing citizens, inclusion of young people and women - Isailovic advised.
