He visited this section of the corridor - which will connect the central regions of Serbia with corridors 10 and 11 - together with Minister Tomislav Momirovic, Mayor of Krusevac Jasmina Palurovic and the representatives of the company Bechtel Enka, which is performing the construction.
Momirovic stated that this is the largest construction site in Serbia and that over 2,500 workers and approximately a thousand vehicles are engaged on the Morava Corridor. He added that this will be the widest highway in our country and the most modern in Southeast Europe.
The Pojate-Krusevac section will connect all major urban areas in central Serbia between Pojate and Cacak - Cicevac, Stalac, Krusevac, Trstenik, Vrnjacka Banja, Kraljevo and Cacak, where approximately half a million people live.
The Morava Corridor will be the first digital highway in Serbia. The total length is 112 kilometers and includes three sections: Pojate-Krusevac (27.8 kilometers), Krusevac-Adrani (53.8 kilometers) and Adrani-Preljina (30.6 kilometers), the website of the Serbian Government reports.
