Bauerhin officially bought land in Indjija - Construction of factory of seat heaters may start

The Municipal Council of Indjija made the decision at its 39th session, which was held on Friday (October 22, 2010), on enabling IGB Automotive to pay the fee for building land in installments.

- During the negotiations that lasted for several months, we have agreed that this company should be enabled to pay the full price of the fee for building land in 120 monthly installments because that company is very important for the municipality of Indjija. By our decision, Bauerhin has officially bought the land and met all the conditions so it can commence the construction as soon as tomorrow. Construction of this factory also means new jobs, mainly for women, and we will stimulate the investors who employ women in the future and do everything to make it possible for the women on the territory of the municipality of Indjija who are interested in working to find jobs - said Indjija Mayor Goran Jesic.

German Bauerhin–IGB Automotive produces heaters for seats for the automotive industry and it owns production units in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Korea and China. That successful company has already employed 300 people from Indjija and, once the new factory is finished, that number will be increased to 750. The new factory will be built on an area of 7,500 square meters and it will be annually producing nearly 6m seat heaters. The deadline for completion of the whole project, including the employment and commencement of production, is 2012, while the plant itself will be built already next year.
