Millions worth of investments in Hemofarm - Stada announced investments worth 10 million euros in 2011

Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic said after the meeting with new Director General of Hemofarm and Vice-President of Stada Group Wolfram Heinisch that that German company had announced new investments in Hemofarm in 2011, worth 10 million euros.
Minister Dinkic said that they had agreed that Hemofarm should keep the same number of employees as in 2010, that is, 2,000 workers, and pointed out that that Vrsac-based factory would remain the pharmaceutical leader in Serbia and Southeast Europe.
Dinkic emphasized that Hemofarm's representatives stated that, of all the government measures, they liked the subsidized loans for liquidity the most, and added that Hemofarm was expected to increase its export in 2011.
Heinisch said that he had talked with the Minister about the problems they experienced in the Serbian market and expressed an expectation that they would be resolved with the assistance of the government.
According to his words, the company's reorganization and new investments will not only increase the capacities but also provide new products in the market of Serbia.
