Factory of Pyrotechnics Devices in Koceljeva to Expand – 24 New Facilities and Doubled Production Complex Area

The company Balkania ltd doo from Koceljeva has filed to the competent ministry a request for the defining of the scope and the content of the study of the environmental impact of the project of the reconstruction and expansion of the factory for the production of pyrotechnics devices in that municipality.

The expansion of the factory entails the adaptation and repurposing of the existing production facilities and the construction of 24 new facilities for the storage and production of pyrotechnics devices in the hazardous section of the complex.

The factory is meant for the production of pyrotechnics devices – batteries, rockets, fountains and firecrackers.

The production is based on traditional Chinese practices, characterized by a maximum share of manual work in small facilities.

The existing arrangement of the facilities, according to the project prepared by Set doo from Sabac, has not followed the technological development of the production process, so it is necessary to repurpose the facilities and extend them, in order to reduce the transport times between the facilities within the complex.
