Investment Conferences for Companies Interested in Investing in Serbia and Western Balkans to Be Organized This Spring in Germany

With around EUR 3 billion in investments in the Serbian economy in the past two decades, Germany is the country’s leading investment and external trade partner and the country most responsible for the modernization of the Serbian economy, Marko Cadez, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS), stated in Berlin.

Cadez, who is on a working visit to Germany, has announced important meetings in Berlin and Munich, where, in the upcoming days, he will have meetings with interested parties in German politics and industry on the strengthening of the bilateral cooperation and the priorities when it comes to regional integration in the Western Balkans, as announced on the website of the CCIS.

For our products, according to the president of the CCIS, Germany is the primary exporting market, and the total investment, economic-trade and political cooperation is at a high level. He also emphasized the importance of Germany’s big support to the implementation of the model of dual education in Serbia, which enables education tailored to the needs of the economy.

– We have launched a special digital platform within the “Connect, Serbia” project in order to connect the diaspora with the economy in the country and incite their investments and cooperation based on a mutual economic interest – Cadez said.

He announced that, in the spring, first in March, in Stuttgart, and then in May, in Berlin, investment conferences would be organized for German companies interested in investments in Serbia and the Western Balkans, which the CCIS is preparing in cooperation with the partner German chambers. At these events, the potential and the concrete possibilities for investments and operations will be presented.
