They write that the investment fund connected with Solak’s capital already has several companies in Pula. According to the daily, Solak owns a shopping mall in Pula and also plans to build a hotel, a residential-office complex and an attractive film studio in that city.
In the location of the neglected sports center Valkane, Solak would build a luxury hotel with 350 beds in the zone where Istra played first-league matches 25 years ago and which features two football courts and around ten tennis courts.
All these facilities are in a bad condition and a new investment is expected to develop the entire area, and the article emphasized that one of Solak’s companies also owns the Pula cement factory, which is located in the same zone.
– Considering the very intensive investment presence of Dragan Solak in this area, it seems logical that there should be speculations about his interest in the football club as well – writes Sportske Novosti.
