Presentation of the Feasibility Study for the construction of international port of Sabac was held yesterday in the City Hall in Sabac. The Study contains answers to the questions such as what kinds of the flow of goods can be expected, what the optimum capacity is, how much money is required for the construction and when the invested capital will be returned.

The Study was presented by MA Dragana Milenkovic, a graduate civil engineer and the Marketing Director at Belgrade-based Ehting, the company that provides planning, engineering and consulting services in the field of water power and civil engineering.

- The City of Sabac has provided about 600 hectares that form the northwest work zone and are at the disposal of investors. We have so far invested 10 million euros in the public utility equipping, junctions and land acquisitions. That money is an investment in the future and development of the city, as well as a good stimulus for investors to invest in Sabac. The port in Sabac will enable the transport of goods by ship, rail and trucks. That is the advantage of our geographic position that we have to use – Sabac Mayor Milos Milosevic said at the presentation.
