The Ministry of Economy and Regional Development of Serbia announced today that it would relocate four of its agencies from Belgrade by the end of the year to regional centers - Zajecar, Nis, Kragujevac and Uzice.

The headquarters of the National Agency for Regional Development will be moved on Friday, October 15, to Zajecar, while the headquarters of the Development Fund will be relocated to Nis until the end of November.

The headquarters of the Export Insurance and Funding Agency will be moved to Uzice, while the headquarters of the National Employment Agency will be relocated to Kragujevac.

The Ministry of Economy pointed out that it had first started the deconcentration of the government institutions in order to bring them closer to citizens and businessmen.

- In this way we want to create equal opportunities for all our citizens and equal access to the institutions that exist for the people - reads the statement by the Ministry of Economy.
