Potential Change of Route of Second Subway Line – Propositions Made by Egis Being Considered

At the session of the Technical Commission of the City of Belgrade for the Construction of the Subway, the propositions made by Egis regarding the route of the second line were considered, announced the deputy mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic.

– The session of the Technical Commission of the City of Belgrade for the Construction of the Subway which I am presiding over. We are considering the propositions made by Egis for the route of Line 2 of the Belgrade Subway – Vesic wrote on his official Facebook profile.

As can be seen from the photograph published by Vesic, one option envisages a slightly different route of Line 2 than previously planned.

More precisely, “Option 2” envisages for Line 2 to encompass the stations: Bezanija Depot-Marka Celebonovica Street-Clinical Center Bezanija-Novi Grad-New Novi Sad Road and further down the route, as previously planned. The change, then, pertains to a turn through Bezanijska Kosa.
