In 2021, 9,635 Companies and 34,378 New Enterprises Founded

The Business Registers Agency (APR) has announced that, last year in Serbia, 9,635 companies were founded, 459 more than in 2020 and 478 more than in 2019. Also, in 2021, 34,378 new enterprises were registered, 4,568 more than in 2020, but 2,782 less than in the pre-Covid period of 2019, in which 37,160 enterprises were founded, APR told Beta.

It is also specified that, in Serbia, as of January 4, 124,260 active companies and 290,445 enterprises are registered, which is 2,570 companies and 11,489 enterprises more than in early 2021.
