Kragujevac-based Zastava has managed to win its economic interest, so that the tender for sale of factory Ramiz Sadiku Peć (worth €40m), which was announced by Kosovo Trust Agency, was cancelled.
Ramiz Sadiku that produces automobile seats was once the most modern unit in the makeup of Zastava group. In 1997, its property was estimated to €25m. Zastava took over obligations towards the Paris and London Club (€14m) and Fiat invested a lot. The units occupy territory of 56,000 square meters, whereas the factory complex is built on 14 ha.
One of the most important arguments was the fact that Zastava showed the deed on the land, which is a certain proof of ownership.
