Delta elektronik Niš invented and patented microprocessor for electric motor drive for elevators – exceptional technology in Europe

Delta elektronik has recently introduced technology for production of microprocessors for electric motor drive for elevators. It is estimated that such level has not been reached on the market of Europe so far. Present elevators in Serbia works by principle of “open and closed relays”, which is the technology applied in the world some 20 years ago. Therefore, the new patent will be used for production of new elevators, as well as for “rejuvenation” of the existing elevators.

The new microprocessor costs about 175,000 CSD. Similar product from Germany or Austria costs €3,500-7,000.

How big the works on reconstruction of elevators will be can be only assumed if we know that there are about 1,750 elevators only in Niš, 75% of which are older than 15.

Microprocessor is attested at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Niš.
