Serbian Association of contemporary industry of clay products formed

Davor Stojanovic, the Director General of Industry of building materials Trudbenik, has been appointed as a member of the Managing Board of the newly formed Association of the contemporary industry of clay products, which was formed on September 28 in Belgrade.

The Association will be gathering the manufacturers of rough and fine ceramics since both face identical problems in the production and use and both use the same raw materials and energy and apply similar technological processes.

The aims of the Association (SIGP) are: representation of interests of clay products in the country and abroad, cooperation in the process of Serbian and European standardization, influence on the passing of laws and regulations by competent bodies, organization of joint work on technical and advertising issues related to clay products, expert scientific researches, as well as fight against unfair competition.
