OTP bank – owner of nearly 90% of assets in "Niška banka"

Serbian Minister of Finance, Mlađan Dinkić, announced that Hungarian OTP bank had won on the tender for privatization of "Niška banka" and, in that way, become owner of 89.39% of assets in that bank at price of €14.21m.

Following the signing of the contract in the main office of the Government of Serbia, Dinkić said that the achieved price was 1.3 times higher than the nominal value of the bank and that the completion of the transaction, through transfer of ownership rights, along with complete payment, would take place within 60 days.
