The location of the border checkpoint between Montenegro and Serbia is in the cadaster parcels nos. 4094, 22, 3, 1640 in the cadaster municipality of Crni Vrh and no. 1615 in the cadaster municipality of Jugovo in the territory of the municipality of Pljevlja. The construction of a facility for border police, control booths with a canopy and a facility for a detailed examination of passenger cars is planned on the parcel.
The project solution includes a complete border checkpoint zone, as well as access routes from both directions, traffic islands, facility dispositions and canopies, and it should also feature a border checkpoint flat area.

It should also have a facility for a detailed examination of vehicles, equipment for the scanning of radioactivity in each line, as the primary check, equipment for the reading of the vehicles’ license plates, also in each line, as the primary check, equipment for detection of explosives, whereas for the detection of narcotics, equipment and trained police dogs should be used. The dogs must have their own area at the border checkpoint, and two houses for dogs should be planned. Two public toilets should be designed for the needs of the passengers.
– Considering that this is a common border checkpoint, an administrative building should be planned, which will feature rooms only for the needs of police officers. The management building should be designed as a double facility with identical rooms for officers from both Montenegro and Serbia – according to the preliminary design.
The document published on the website of the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial and Urban Planning of Montenegro explains that the facility is meant for the operations of the border police, with dimensions of 35x8 meters, located in the western section of the parcel. The plan is for it to feature rooms for police officers – an office, a supervision room, an arms depository, a server room, a search office, a jail, a room for confiscated goods, a space for persons who have had entrance to the country denied, for asylum seekers, an archive, a room for rest and a sanitary block. A control cabin of 4x2.10 meters should be located next to the traffic lane.

– A facility for a detailed examination of passenger cars, of 10x8.50 m, is positioned in the eastern section of the parcel. Facilities are positioned in line with the regulation protocol. Vehicle access on both sides of the border is enabled with one traffic lane. The parking of official vehicles is enabled on the western and eastern sides of the parcel. Eight parking spaces are planned – according to the preliminary design.
