International book fair in Belgrade - October 25-31

International Book Fair in Belgrade will be held this year between October 25 and 31.

The 55th Book Fair is organized by the concept that was applied last year for the first time and introduced numerous advantages for both exhibitors and visitors.

Contemporary foreign and domestic publications, presentation of writers, promotions and other supporting programmes of publishers will be classified into exhibition units. This concept separates publishers from bookstores, resulting in a better organization of presentations and larger exhibition space.

This year's guest of honor is Sweden. This country will present itself through the "Voices of Sweden" project. The project manager is the Embassy of Sweden in cooperation with the Swedish Culture Council and the Swedish Institute. In addition to the presentation of the contemporary book production at this year's Book Fair in Belgrade, Sweden will also present hundreds of titles from the fields of fiction, documentary literature and the literature for kids, many of which have been translated into Serbian language as well.
