Serbia Opens Another Four Chapters in EU Accession Negotiations

At the Intergovernmental conference on the accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union (EU) held in Brussels today, cluster 4 has been opened, the Government of Serbia announced.

Cluster 4 – Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity, consists of four chapters: Chapter 14 – Transport Policy, Chapter 15 - Energy, Chapter 21 - Trans-European Networks and Chapter 27 - Environment and Climate Change.

Serbia has so far opened 22 chapters in the negotiations with the EU, of which two have been temporarily closed.

There are a total of 33 chapters, divided into six clusters, as part of Serbia’s accession negotiations with the EU.
