Factory of Calzediona Fiorano group opened in Sombor - Investment worth 16 million euros

Calzedonia group President Sandro Veronesi yesterday opened a new facility of that company in Sombor. Sombor-based Fiorano factory will be producing underwear for women, about 6,000 pieces per day in the first phase, while that number should reach 25-30,000 once the unit starts working at full steam.

Also, instead of the current number of employees - over 200 of them, nearly 700 people should be working at Fiorano.

In the construction of the factory in Sombor, of which total surface is 12,000 square meters, 16 million euros were invested.

The factory in Sombor was opened in the presence of Serbian President Boris Tadic, Vojvodina Prime Minister Dr. Bojan Pajtic, and Italian Ambassador to Serbia Armando Varichio.
