During the talks with the representatives of Municipality of Sremska Mitrovica, a businessman from Cyprus, Tomis Nicidis, announced that it intended to invest €2.5m in construction of pasta factory. Nicidis is one of the co-owners of Sremska Mitrovica-based "Žitopromet-Bratstvo" company.
